Overview

The sepia photograph features the Guard of Honour at the Unveiling Ceremony of the Subiaco War Memorial. There are twenty-five men in uniform arranged in two rows. The front row is kneeling on the right knee, holding rifles with bayonets in the right hand. The back row is standing at ease with rifles and bayonets. There is one man standing in the middle of the front row wearing officer's uniform with arms held behind his back. All are wearing decorations. The caption reads: 'The Guard of Honour at Unveiling Ceremony - Subiaco Memorial - 25th November 1923. Presented to the Subiaco Municipal Council by the Subiaco Sub-Branch R.S.L.' The Society holds the negative.
