Overview

From a collection of birthday postcards sent to Lillian by her husband James (Jim).
Front: 'Birthday Greeting' and a chair made of daisies. Blue flowers around the chair.
Reverse: W & K Postcard. Handwritten message starts,
'To Dear Jim, Wishing you many Happy returns of the day. With love from Lillian'
There is a poem which is Lilian's answer to his proposal.
It reads
'My Answer' ' To you alone I give my heart
Let's hope till death we will not part
Forever faithful, forever true.
I will always be to you'
In blue pen 'This was my answer to Jim on his birthday 1908 May 12th. He proposed on January 1st 1908'
