Historical information

Wainomi 3 Victoria Avenue, Claremont was the home of Raymond John and Edith Florence Sharkey. Wainomi means 'Pearl Water' in the Hawaiian language.

Edith Josephine (Jo) (b.1902) and Maida Winsome (b.1906) were children of Florence Edith and Raymond John Sharkey.

Raymond John Sharkey an architect, surveyor and amateur photographer was born in 1868 in New South Wales. Raymond was a Claremont resident when he died at an early age.
