Glue Pot

Overview

A small metal container with a inner container. The container has a handle for carrying and the inner container has a hinged lid with an embossed pattern and in the centre is a knob which lifts the lid.

Historical information

It was used for holding water to heat over fire and glue in the inner pot.

Inscriptions and markings

On the bottom of the container is embossed "Rd No 62615". On the lid of the inner container is embossed "Rd No. 176261" and on the base is embossed "Rd No 476261" and opposite this number is "10".
