METAL THREAD, CHURCH STOLE

Overview

Dark green and gold. Ecclesiastical stole.
Brocade and backed with cotton, stylised green cross, with circle and metal spangle. Embroidered in gold silk in long and short satin stitch. Laid work in gold Jap - embroidered at both ends and a smaller cross at the back of the neck. Four laid gold Jap bands above both crosses as ends of the stole. Finished with a green and gold silk fringe.
