CROSS STITCH, SAMPLER, CHILD

Child sampler on canvas, 14 threads per inch. Worked over two canvas threads in cross stich using 1 strand of navy blue Danish Flower thread. A pink Danish Flower thread is also used around the border and in a line under the lower case letter.

Under each row of letters is a line of cross stich in differenet pattern designs. A bprder surrounds the alphabets: 2 rows of alternating 3 red cross stitch, 3 blue cross stich. A 4mm hem is three sides, RHS has no hem as is a selvedge..
