Walter William Haddleton Identity Card
c. 1940A light brown identity card with the name "Walter William Haddleton Coompatine Katanning" handwritten on the front.
Civilian identify cards were issued to all Australian Citizens during World War Two. Conditions of use were printed on the card. This card was found in the possession of Eileen Haddleton when she died in 2005.

On the front of the identity card is a black circular stamp with the words "BUNBURY WESTERN AUSTRALIA." around the inner circle, the date inside the circle is not identifiable.
On the back of the identity card is the handwritten signature of "W.W. Haddleton", his address was "'Coompatine' Katanning". The witness signature was "Muriel A. Cruickshank" of "Avon street Katanning"
