A cream invoice with the name of the business and ruled lines in the bottom half for the type of goods bought to be listed.

Historical information

An invoice from James Causer, Dairyman to Mr. L. Baker. Causer Bros operated a fresh milk dairy from a property on Forrest Hills road, and in 2006 it was owned by the Antonio family. The Causers delivered milk twice a day to the residents of Katanning in a horse draw milk cart.

Inscriptions and markings

At the top of the invoice printed in black ink is "The Federal Dairy." Below this "Mr L. Baker Katanning 28th Feb 1933", then in black ink "DR. to James Causer, Dairyman" followed by "Milk Delivered Twice Daily. New Laid Eggs. Fresh Cream". In the first line of the ruled section in black ink is "To Account Rendered", and on the second line "Milk Delivered to date Pints'
