Fawn-coloured envelope with green printed text. It is folded length-wise into front and back covers, and has a mottled appearance where the green ink has run onto the paper.
At the top of the front cover of the envelope is the text: [PHOTOGRAPHIC / GOODS.]. Below this text is a drawing of a lady standing under a tree wearing a four-tiered low cut dress and a wide brimmed bonnet kept in place with a wide ribbon. She is carrying a purse in her left hand. Below this picture is the text:

The back of the envelope has a green border containing text describing and promoting the photographic services supplied by the pharmacy.
Inside, the envelope contains text promoting amateur photography and the following details about the film which has been developed: [Order No 380 / Size 120 / Films 2 1-6 / Prints 12 2-0 / Mr. Birtwhistle 3/6 ]
Pharmacist Hugh Howling had a one day service for developing and printing, conducted by an expert who also specialised in colouring sepia toning, and enlarging photographs.
