Inscriptions and markings

In the bottom right hand corner of the photograph handwritten in black ink is "Wm.J. FORD PHOTO KATANNING".

Below the photograph on brown card with black typed lettering is "PRESENTED TO GEORGE THOMAS ESQUIRE." and below this is "As a token of esteem and respect on his departure From Katanning by the Committee and Bandsmen of the Katanning Brass Band Inc. 6.1.29".

On a brass plaque on the bottom of the wooden frame is etched "BACK ROW BLUEY DORRIES. H.MONCKMAN. TEDDY MYERS. JACK COVENTRY. RIP WATERS" and below this is "2ND ROW: JACK BAKER. HUEY MOURTIZ JNR. ELI HADDLETON." and below this is "FRONT BENNY MYERS. MR. H. MOURITZ SNR."
