CLUB BLAZER (OLIVE GREEN)
1974This club blazer was purchased and worn by many club members.
It is dark olive green in colour and features the club's crest on the left breast pocket.
Three other versions of club blazers have existed in the club's history. Each of the club's male directors are provided with a blazer and tie as part of their appointment. The directors wear the blazer and tie during formal occasions.
Max Hannah, the donor of this blazer, recalls purchasing it soon after he joined the club in 1973. Like many others members he chose to wear the blazer and tie in the club's lounge after golf in order to adhere to the dress requirements of that period.

There are no maker's marks on the blazer. However, Max Hannah stated: 'I am almost certain the blazer was purchased from M & M Johnson Tailors, 585 Wellington St, Perth. They would have been the nominated supplier for the club in those days.'
