A black and white photograph of a building being demolished. There are trees on either side of the building and another building in the background on the right hand side, however it cannot be identified.

Historical information

The original St Patricks Catholic church was founded on the corner of Bokarup and Britannia Street Katanning in 1893. It was demolished in 1926. From an article in the Great Southern Herald dated Sat 27 Nov 1926, pg 7 'The Katanning Road gave approval for the site Lot 47B (Old Catholic Church) to be used by Vacuum Oil Company for bulk storage of oil '.
