KNOTTING, TEA CLOTH
Great small example of knotted tea cloth usually seen in dining table size. Very typical of knotting technique. Centre diamond shape with four textured flowers, knotted ground surrounded by border of needle weaving with flat knotted flowers. Then a wider band of loose ground with an outer geometric border with flowers on the scalloped edge. Flowers have tallies on top of needle weaving which gives texture.
