Overview

Cream coloured fibreglass helmet. Ridge down the centre with rim around the edge which is wider at the back. On the front is a circular sticker halved at the centre depicting three leaves with white veins on the left half and red flames on the right side. Underneath the sticker is written, ARMADALE WEST.

Historical information

This helmet was used by a member of the Armadale West Volunteer Bushfire Brigade in the 1980s. It was made by the Mine Safety Appliances company in Pittsburgh USA. The Brigade was closed down in 1999
