Overview

Trench Art, toy tank from the great war. Hand made from wood with the shape modelled on the MKI Tank from the great war era. It is covered with metal skin fixed with tacks. The two parallelogram shapes for track carriers have copper/bronze shell case sheet worked to represent track. Body between has a gun turret with winged top. A swivel plate at front covering manhole to body of tank. There are machine gun housings at each side. Painted in camouflage style and colours of the early MKI.
