Used as a hat rack at the The Green Lizard Hall (Green Lizard Dance Hall - Green Lizard Ballroom) c1930. A very popular local venue used for dance classes, dances and community events.
Part of a group of buildings that appeared in the Albany Advertiser in 1926. It was advertised by Arthur Johnson & Snowballs as offering both Tea Rooms, showrooms and a hall for hire.
Green Lizard Hall was part of the Cowens Buildings Later C.E.BOLT & CO on the site of the current (2020) Trans WA bus port. For some reason, the site was known locally as 'The Green Lizard'.
