A black and white photograph of a brick building which has a verandah with signage of the name of the business and the goods that are sold. The top of the façade has the business of the building name which is "GROCERY HARDWARE", the name " J.A. Meldrum and Sons" and "DRAPERY FURNITURE".
The signage on the verandah is "GENERAL - MELDRUMS- STORE".
