Overview

A black and white photograph of a group of men in cricket uniform. There are five men standing in the back row and six men sitting and are dressed in light coloured long trousers, light shirts and a dark jacket with light vertical stripes. Four of the seated men are also wearing caps, two are wearing hats, all have the same pattern as the jacket. In the back row, two men on the left are wearing white shirts but no jackets, the two in the middle are the same as the front row and the last man is also has no jacket. All have either hats or caps with the same pattern as the jacket.

Inscriptions and markings

On the back of the photograph is written in black ink 'Mrs Anderson with compliments of the Wanderers C.C.. Written in pencil are the following comments 'Amy' against Mrs Anderson's name, 'Easter 1912' underneath the black ink.
On the back at the bottom right hand corner in pencil is written 'Belonged to May Anderson - Grandmother, the original to Amy Ceciela Anderson given to Thomas Anderson by Wanderers'
