The oval contains the words, “Issued by Dept of Defence / To Women of Australia”. Beneath is a blue enameled scroll with the words, “For Duty Done”. Stamped on underside of badge, “W McLeans & Co / Melb / STG SIL / 14403”, and stamped on bar, “132501”.
