This AIF photograph folder in memory of Sapper John DENNEY, 142, includes 3 black and white photographs of his gravesite in Gallipoli, showing a white cross. Sapper DENNEY was in the 1st Divisional Signal Company, Australian Engineers and was killed in action near Plugge’s Plateau on the 27th April, 1915. At the time of his death John was 20 years of age, he is buried at Lone Pine Cemetery.
