TENNIS RACQUET
Wooden racquet with an oval shaped ribbed handle and an egg shaped frame holding a square weave plastic string hitting surface.
The frame has strengthening in four places on the lower half of the racquet and text on both sides. It also has a leather strip around the base of the handle.
There is a trade mark on the base of the handle, and [M.ROWE] scratched into side of the handle.

This collection of objects from 15 William Street Armadale was collected to provide a snapshot of everyday items that were in a Armadale home in the from the early 1930s through to the 1970s. The collection was used by who Miss Ivy 'Milly' Millicent Rowe lived in the home from c1932-1970.
