Historical information

Painted in 1985 by the residents as an exercise to record the historic unit in the park bounded by The Grove.

Was originally used in conjunction with the mine and brickworks which were on the site.

An example of artwork created by residents of the area. This particular example is of the old windlass that was used in the local brickworks.

The brickworks itself played a large part supplying bricks to both the local, and general Perth area.
