COLLAR
c. 1930A female dress collar. Made by a combination of black fabric and beading. The collar has a simple pattern that appears to be blue branches supporting leaves and acorns. The leaves and acorns have white and lighter shades of blue beading.
Some beads have fallen off from the collar.
Miss Ivy 'Milly' Millicent Rowe lived at 15 William Street Armadale. Milly was born in Geraldton in 1917 and moved to Armadale some time in the mid 1930s and lived in William Street through to her death in the early 1970s.
These items were collected from the house by her neighbour Kim Fletcher as a representation of everyday items used in Armadale from the 1930s-70s.
