Overview
This very large picture of The Lord’s Prayer is hand crocheted in filet technique with the face of Jesus at the top.
Crocheted by donor’s great grand aunty, Doris (Dorothy Bennett) born 1877 in United Kingdom.
In the Bennett family precious items were gifted for weddings or special occasions. Donor’s mother, Mildred Gallagher aged 14, was given the picture when she was leaving UK and migrating to Australia arriving in WA
14th February 1939.
The picture is very large and as there is no suitable storage available at Guild house, the crochet was removed from the frame, vacuumed and rolled.
