This postcard was sold in Katanning around 1978 to 1981 and was purchased from the newsagency for 40 cents.

Details
On the front of the postcard in white typed lettering is "Greetings from KATANNING".
On the back of the postcard at the top right hand side is a pink emu and alongside in pink ink "EMU SOUVENIRS 83 NANSON ST. WEMBLEY W.A.6014" and in the top right hand corner is the outline of a pink square and inside the square is the Made in WA trademark which is an outline of WA with a circle in the middle and the words "Made in Western Australia" below.
On the back of the postcard in the bottom left hand corner in pink typed lettering is "Katng. 2. 'Kobeelya' originally the home of F.H. Piesse. Now converted to a Girls' School. Katanning, Western Australia Photographed by Frank Indrisie." and in the bottom right hand corner in pink typed lettering is "POSTCARD".
