17 men and two ladies.
All men are wearing jackets and trousers, some with ties. One man is wearing white trousers and shirt and black jacket. Ladies are in white dresses holding bouquets of flowers.
Three dogs are on leads.
Bus behind group has name Daffodil Motor Service.
Building in the background is the Newcastle Hotel, Stirling Terrace. Sign on building reads "Dining Rooms. Meals and light refreshments". Pediment of the shop to the left of hotel can be seen.
On the extreme left is Toodyay Whippet Club secretary Les Purser.
Local owner Wowser James is in the white trousers with his champion bitch 'Gay Aggie'. Dogs 'Crimson Flash' and 'Bonny Cosy' are also present.

Whippet Racing, Toodyay Club
Under ideal conditions the Toodyay Whippet Club held a most successful meeting on October 16. Fifty-four dogs, including 13 from Perth took part and in a close finish Lady Aggie won from Miss Gibbs and Ailsa Bell.
