Overview

Taken in Stirling Terrace near the St John Ambulance building and shops.
A black and white photo of a small Austin 6 car, leading the parade. David Pitcher is driving and his wife Marian is holding up a spotted umbrella. Both in period dress.
Number plate of the vehicle is A640. Behind the passengers is a placard advertising the "Newcastle Ball Sat Oct 26th".
A little girl in period clothes is a short distance from the vehicle holding a placard with the same detail.
People are seen on the verandah of the ambulance building behind a parked vehicle.
Another modern car is to the right of the Austin, which belonged to Sonny de Campi [acc. to Jack Hammer's note]

In 1998 the Toodyay Tourist Centre Inc. amalgamated with the Shire of Toodyay and its assets, including these photos, were transferred to the Shire.
