Phillip T. Harris was the licensee at the Spring Park Hotel from 1910 until his death in 1914, after which his wife Mary took over the licence. Handwritten notation on the rear of this image identifies Phillip Harris in the back of the car featured in front of the hotel, his wife Mary is driving the car.

Hand written script on lower left corner on front of the mat board states: 'Alfred Fitch Photo'. Rear of the board features a handwritten caption that identifies the occupants of the car featured in the photograph.
The Spring Park Hotel was located on Newcastle Road, Midland Junction (Great Eastern Highway, Midland). The hotel was closed in 1921.
