Phillip T. Harris was the licensee at the Spring Park Hotel from 1910 until his death in 1914, after which his wife Mary took over the licence. The Spring Park Hotel was located on Newcastle Road (Great Northern Highway), Midland Junction. The hotel was closed in 1921.

The Spring Park Hotel was one of ten hotels established in the vicinity of Midland around the turn of the 20th Century, only two of the original hotel buildings remain standing; the Spring Park is one of the eight lost hotels.
