c. 1920The black and white photograph shows Bert Congdon as a young man, possibly after his return from World War 1. It is a studio portrait showing head and shoulders with faded outlines and retouching. Mr Congdon is wearing a suit coat, white shirt and coloured tie.
The Congdons came to Jolimont about 1900 and Bert, son of Edwin, married Pearl Trenberth, also of Subiaco.
