Elinor George dressed for driving in a light-coloured ladies overcoat, under which a light blouse with dark tie can be seen, with dark hat on head and holding a pair of black driving gloves. Gates either side, the left open inwards, the right shut. Trees on left and behind Elinor, water tower seen in background. The location is the rear of 26 Bay Road, Claremont.

Also called 'Nell'. Born 02/07/1892. Died 01/10/1960. Daughter of W J George and Mary Anne George (nee Nelson). Was one of the first women drivers.
