Les Mumme was a Police Officer at Claremont. As Officer in Charge of the Police Boys Club he was allocated the police house at 66 Victoria Avenue, Claremont, where he lived with his wife Joy and young family. Shed in 06.5a is typical of garages erected on government housing properties by an occupier and subsequently 'sold' on to future tenants.
