2004The site is a vacant lot. In the foreground is white dirt with spiny grasses scattered about. Central is a sign reading [SHELLBEARERS//FOR SALE//BARNFIELD MILL REDEVELOPMENT] with a picture of unit housing and details of sale below. Behind the sign to the left, are the remains of Barnfield Mill. The mill, a red brick building at 44 Barnfield Road, Claremont, has windows but no glass, graffiti on walls, tin outbuilding to the left and pipes and wheat bins above. Trees to background right.
Taken by students at Curtin University's Local History class as part of the Claremont Street Histories Project in 2004.
