Overview

A coloured photograph of members of a musical band with the banner of their band behind them. There are twenty members of the band which includes men, women, girls and boys. They are all dressed in the uniform of the band which was a dark blue jack and grey trousers, with the exception of one woman in the centre who was a committee member.

Historical information

The band started in 1904. Band has been a important part of Katanning entertainment since 1904. The Katanning Brass Band includes members from the Katanning Silver Band. The photo was taken in the foyer of the Katanning Town Hall.
