Spoon pointed pen nibs in box. Two part box containing nibs for pens. Box lid states: "Geo. W. Hughes No757F Spoon Pointed Pens. "The points of these pens are made in the shape of a spoon bowl, so that the sharp edge never touches the paper, consequently scratching and spurting are avoided." Sides of lid (2) state :G.W. Hughes Spoon Pointed Pens No 757F". Underside of box states "Caution - Geo W. Hughes, Steel Pen and Penholder Manufacturer, St Paul's Pen Works, 8, Legge Lane, Birmingham, begs to thank the public for the decided preference they have shown for the Pens of his manufacture, and regret that low and disreputable individuals have rendered it necessary to caution the Public that none are genuine without his Signature on the label at the bottom of the box thus: 'Geo W Hughes.' "
