Overview

A beautifully embroidered square cloth with a black felt background.

In the centre an eight pointed floral design - 220 mm circumference. Pink flower in silk floss surrounded by eight heavy gold leaves, possibly 'beetlenut' shaped, inter spersed with eight pale green silk floss leaves in straight stitch.

Around this, square in shape, a 260mm deep continuous band, heavily embroidered in goldwork with pink and orange floral motifs, five on each side, heavily couched gold 'beetlenut' leaves, 14 on each side, as well as twenty one pale green silk floss leaves. Outside edging has a 25mm gold fringing.
