The people in the photo have been identified as the Mick Markey and Tom Strahan families of Jimperding and the Jimmy Markey family from Mosslands, Salt Valley.
Mrs. JC Markey is in the long white dress. Harold (Pod) Strahan is on the extreme right.
Also present are Albert, Allan and Dave Markey of Jimperding (one of whom may have been cropped off the left from this version of the photo) as well as Arthur and Louis Markey of Mosslands, and Stan and Preston Strahan.

The Ten Mile Hill State School opened in September 1913 on the Toodyay-Perth Road, near the Lovers Lane junction. The school was built by E. Crossley. The first teacher was 17 year old Gertrude Hasell. The school finally closed in 1925. The last teacher was Eileen Plummer.
