GAME: SNAKES AND LADDERS BOARDGAME
A snakes and ladders folding cardboard game board, with colour printing on one side.
Players start at square on in the bottom left corner and roll dice to attempt to be the first to reach square 100. Squares with a 'good' quality lead up a ladder eg. Penitence, Kindness, Obedience, Truthfulness. Squares with a 'bad' quality lead down a snake eg. Vanity, Cruelty, Avarice, Quarrelsomeness.
Printed in the bottom left corner 'Made in Australia'.

The games belonged to donor's husband who grew up in Nedlands. He used the games in childhood in the 1940s, and then passed them down to their 3 children. In the late 1960s and 1970s the games were used at their family home in Shenton Park, and then retained until donated.
