POSTCARD: AUSTRALIAN HUTS AT BISLEY

Overview

Image: The black and white postcard/photograph features a long single-storey hut with a wooden verandah. There is a low white railing fence in front and flowering bushes planted in the area in between the fence and the hut. There is a larger, double-storey building on the left side and an Australian flag flies from a tall flag pole. The hut looks out on to a grassed area. The words 'Australian Huts' is written on the front of the image.

Reverse: The item is addressed to Mr G. Balding, Builder and Contractor, West Subiaco, W. Aus. Handwritten on the back: 'Dear Gerald, this is a photo of the Australian huts at Bisley. Jack will give you all the news when he comes home. Kind regards to all, Bert'.
