Black and white photograph of Selina Griffiths (holding parasol) and an extended family group gathered in front of a flag pole during a town celebration. (Empire Day, Federation?) L to R son Alexander Griffiths, Selina Griffiths, daughter Selina Griffths b.1863, husband, daughter Harriet Griffths b.1866, husband, daughter Agnes Griffths b.1876. Just to the left over Alexanders shoulder is the York Street store of T.H.Saw. The flag pole was in the grounds of what is now Alison Hartman Gardens.
