Historical information

Dennis Higgins (1830-1880) was convicted in Wales in 1853 of stealing with violence. He was sent to WA in 1855 on the Adelaide (convict no. 3539).
John Fox (1816-1866) was a British butcher convicted of uttering a forged five pound note and sent to WA in 1858 on the Lord Raglan (convict no. 4951).
Francis Allender (1829-1900) was a free settler from South Australia who took up a farm at Central Greenough.
