WORKING BEE PARTICIPANTS 1967

This is a series of black and white photographs taken during the working bees that were undertaken by members to develop the course prior to the club's opening in 1969.

The views include the clubhouse pad, driving range and refreshment time.

All the images are scanned (high quality 600dpi resolution) pictures taken from an album of hardcopy photographs (Item 2022.343) believed to have been donated by Laurie and Dawn Johnston.

Other records in the archive suggest that Elsie Maurice was the photographer of these images. However, in one of the attachments (titled ''Enjoying refreshments 1'') there is a lady pictured at the front of several men that is highly likely to be Elsie herself, based on the similarity with the image used to identify her in the Topics section of the archive. Perhaps Elsie arranged for someone else to take this photograph.
