WORKING BEE PARTICIPANTS
c. 1968This black and white photograph is one of a series taken of the working bees that were undertaken by members to develop the course prior to the club's opening in 1969.
In this image are several men enjoying a beer, presumably after the day's work. One of the founders, Murray Day, is second from the right. There are several versions of this photograph attached to this item.
The first three versions appear to be digital photographs taken directly from the collage of the working bee days that is displayed in the hallway near the administration office. The quality of these images is affected by the glass covering the collage.

The fourth and fifth, scanned (high quality 600dpi resolution) versions are taken from an album of hardcopy photographs (Item 2022.343) believed to have been donated by Laurie and Dawn Johnston. The fifth version is a different photograph with a slighter broader view of the same scene. A couple of classic Holden cars are visible in the background.
