1984This article reports that Max Hannah was appointed as the National Director of Coaching, which was established by the Australian Golf union in 1984 using a newly created funding grant provided by the Australian Sports Commission. His appointment followed his position as Manager of the WA Junior Golf Team which had recently won the Australian Junior Interstate Series played at Metropolitan Golf Club in Melbourne. He fulfilled the Melbourne based role as National Director of Coaching for two years before returning to WA.
