Ball Gown in Style of Artillery Mess Dress Uniform
In 1904, four wives fashioned formal ball gowns in the style of their husband's military uniforms. One, representing the Mess Dress of an Australian Field Artillery officer has been replicated from the photograph as a feature in the Pre-1914 Gallery.
