Track down your favourite uniforms on the Uniform Discovery Trek at the Australian Army Museum of Western Australia. Look carefully, there are over 100 uniforms showing the way soldiers dressed for ceremonial and combat from the 1820’s until today.
Along the way, there are bivouacs where you can rest and get a selfie in some authentic gear. At some stops you can try lifting the load a soldier would carry with his battle gear or web equipment. And there are plenty of hats and helmets to top it off.
The contents of this sub-collection are designed to compliment the Uniform Discovery Trek which highlights uniform and equipment dsiplays throughout the Galleries. QR codes generated through Collections WA, link to additional content about the military gear, photographs, its history, how it was made and perhaps who wore it.
