Group Of Young People By The River
1900Five young men and three young women are grouped on a checked rug by the river. The women are wearing long skirts and high-necked, long-sleeved blouses. The men are in long trousers and long sleeved shirts, two wearing jackets, one in a waistcoat with high collared shirt and bow tie, and one with sleeves rolled. One man has a woman's boater hat perched on his head and there is a jacket hanging from the tree in the background. Miss Mabel Emma King, daughter of the first mayor of Claremont is on the right.
