Historical information

The Armadale Revellers were a group of amateur performers who put on concerts to raise money for social welfare causes first during the Great Depression and later during WWII. The group wound up late 1940s early 1950s. Many prominent local residents performed in the Revellers dancing, singing or doing sketches.
It is believed that this concert was held in 1940, though it is possible that it was held in 1946 as both of those years had a Monday the 12th of August.
