Overview

Bone carving fork with a safety guard or rest mechanism attached to the middle. The swing arm serves as a guard to protect fingers while carving or as a stand to keep tines off the table. it has 2 steel prongs with the section of the movable guard. attached to a yellowish bone round handle.

Historical information

possibly manufactured early 1990's in England.
it was the property of Mrs Pat Campbell while she lived on the farming property along Toompup Road, Ongerup during the 1940's - 80's
