Braun Paxette Camera and Case

Overview

A black and silver camera with rounded ends which fits inside a brown leather case. On the top left of the camera is a silver winding dial for the type of film, in the middle is a place for a flash, and on the right is a silver winding knob and a small push button for taking pictures. To open the camera simply counter clockwise unscrew the screw on the bottom of the camera. In the centre of this screw is a hole which allows a screw at the base of the leather case to screw into.

Inscriptions and markings

On the front of the camera above the lens is etched in black italic lettering "Paxette".

Around the edge of the lens surround is etched inblack lettering "STAEDLE KATA 1:2.9/4.5 471922". On the base of the lens surround is "PRONTO".

On the top of the camera etched below the clip on flash in two lines is etched "BRAUN", "NORMBERG".

On the back of the camera etched along the bottom edge is "MADE IN GERMANY".
